I just wrote a blog called "The Birth of Meaning". What a coincidence. Beautiful poem btw. So very true. "Our births don't come so quiet-" Mine was a violent one. My father almost lost my mother & I. Even as I write this comment, there is still no silence. The loud sounds of one of the busiest US freeways runs through my head but not my heart. I may not be able to hear its beating, of course, but I know it does 'cause I'm still breathing, carrying on~

I had a dream the other day of a fellow riding a tracker ... showing me this beautiful nice green cut grass--by a woodsy area. In the center was a big carrot growing. It was partially sticking up out of the ground; however, still deeply-rooted. For some reason, the only peace, stillness I find lately is in my dreams. In reality, ... well, living in the city .... finding quietness is a challenge... :)

Browsing your blog, I am always interested and happy to come.

I just wanted to add this saying.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. R. Niebuhr

ENTROPIC HOPE
-- James Ph. Kotsybar

Dr. Smart, with sweeping dioramics,
summarized theory accepted today:
“The first few laws of thermodynamics:
You can’t win, break even or get away.

“No matter speed of acceleration,
the universe runs down since the Big Bang.
The fate of order is dissipation.
The spring, once sprung, can’t be re-sprung. It sprang.

“A system needs energy to survive
or it’s unable to do work, of course.
On galactic scales or like us, alive,
complexity is the result of force.

“And though the second law says we can’t win,
it’s only ‘law’ to a statistician.”
