Apple Opéra
If you want to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first create the universe.
- Carl Sagan
Paris’ Newest Apple Store is Least Apple-Like Store.
Yet It’s also the most beautiful, keeping all of the original fittings from the old bank that was once situated there.

The store set in a restored bank across Rue Halevy from the gilded Palais Garnier — longtime home of the Opera de Paris –
It eschews the usual bland Apple retail ambiance in favor of the site’s original architectural detail — the mosaic tile floor, the marble columns, the curving balustrade, the long narrow skylight.
Instead of using their typical chrome-and-glass stairs, Apple chose to keep the stunning carved wooden stairs and wrought-iron railings.
Wonder & Enjoy …

Dear Lao Aju
This is breathtaking store, this is truly spectacular. I think this is perhaps the most quaint and quintessentially Parisian beautiful store I have seen.
