Ears Have Eyes

Vinyl Cover Art – Champions of vinyl, The Electric Recording Company have been meticulously recreating rare vinyl LPs, making perfect copies of the originals without digital interference.LPs out of a North London Studio.

This video provides a fascinating insight into the artisan skill and techniques used in reproducing the packaging in a purely analogue way, as described by Phil Abel.

Pl watch an in-depth look at the technical and artistic care behind the project.

There are certain recordings in the classical music canon that are exceptional. And many that are exceptionally rare, especially in their original old-fashioned vinyl format. But to some collectors, the vinyl LP is still the ultimate expression of this music, a format never bettered in terms of reproduction and quality of natural sound.

Today Vinyl editions are given more importance than CDs and mp3s. A lot of albums which get released on vinyls have exclusive LP only bonus tracks, some get released in limited edition complete transparent LP discs with hand made paper packaging. I’ve picked up many LP’s from my trip to the states, I only wish to own a good LP player and system. Someday soon !

Beautiful work, a labour of love, whose to shall unfold to only those who cherish the idea of recreating a piece of an era we left behind.

Nimesh.. you are right .. when you say “an era we left behind”,
and I wish Bhavesh to find the LP Player.

    Some do exist already.

These videos remind me that we should never give up what we love, but find the love in what we do.

This should be another wake up call .

The more I grow old, the more I find patience.. maybe on my way to some Wisdom ?
