1. I liked the article. Really, there are many sane souls around. Article title could be "The Joy of Simplicity"

My bit: Like Shakespeare said - Simplicity should be in thinking. It comes when the complexity is removed from the mind and heart through a slow and long spiritual cleaning process. Simplicity is our original condition.

I can't help but to make reference to 4th maxim of Sahaj Marg: "Be plain and simple to be identical with nature."

2. Corrected lines: I certainly wouldn’t recommend my life to most people — and my heart goes out to those who have recently been condemned to a simplicity they never needed or wanted. Perhaps happiness, like peace or passion, comes most when it isn’t pursued.

Enjoyed reading the article. Made me reflect to my own life. I've been living without a couch since I moved to LA. I used to sleep on one for years living in a studio back in NYC. Don't really miss it! And one thing for sure, I'll never be a couch-potato...
